Our Genesis
Forging a Path to Spread the Gospel Globally
Our journey began in 2007 at Jimma University, ignited by the vision of two brothers, Takle and Taklu. Inspired by the enduring legacy of Onesmos Nasib and deeply rooted in the call of Acts 1:8, they established the Global Onesmos Missionary Movement (G-OMM). What started as a dedicated student evangelism team—initially known as "Waldaa Kristaanaa Wangeela Barattootaan Barattootaaf"—has blossomed through consistent weekly training and impactful local missions in Jimma. Today, G-OMM stands as a global force, touching thousands of lives with an unwavering commitment to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
